- The Arctic Fox's hearing is so acute that it can locate and pounce on prey moving under thick snow.
- The Arctic Fox is known for its incredible migratory journeys, sometimes traveling over 4,500 kilometers in search of food. Unlike many mammals, it does not hibernate, remaining active throughout the winter months. A common misconception is that the Arctic Fox is a solitary creature; however, it often forms monogamous pairs during the breeding season and may live in family groups. Its keen sense of hearing allows it to locate prey beneath thick layers of snow, a vital adaptation for survival in its frigid habitat.
