- The Arctic Fox's hearing is so acute that it can locate and pounce on prey moving under thick snow.
- Arctic Foxes have fur on the soles of their feet, which helps them walk on snow and ice. They can survive temperatures as low as -50°C (-58°F) and sometimes follow polar bears to scavenge leftover food.
