- A Bengal tiger's roar can be heard up to 3 kilometers (almost 2 miles) away.
- Bengal tigers are excellent swimmers and often cool off in lakes and rivers. Each tiger's stripe pattern is unique, much like a human fingerprint. They can leap distances of over 6 meters (20 feet) in a single bound.
