- Despite their small size, blue duikers can mark and defend territories up to 0.4 hectares, using scent glands near their eyes to communicate with other duikers.
- Blue Duikers are known for their extraordinary agility, able to dart quickly through thick vegetation to escape predators. They have a unique habit of following monkeys and birds to feed on fallen fruits and leaves. Both males and females possess short, backward-pointing horns, though the horns of females are often much smaller or even absent.
