- Despite their small size, Boston Terriers are excellent watchdogs and are very attuned to their owners' emotions.
- Boston Terriers are often referred to as the 'American Gentleman' due to their unique black-and-white coat and polite mannerisms. They were the first official breed developed in the United States and were recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1893. Boston Terriers are known for their distinctive snorting and snuffling noises, a result of their brachycephalic (short-nosed) facial structure.
