- A clouded leopard's ankles can rotate backwards, allowing it to climb head-first down trees and hang upside down from branches.
- Clouded leopards have the longest canine teeth relative to skull size of any wild cat. They can climb down trees headfirst, and even hang underneath branches using only their hind feet. Despite their name, they are not closely related to leopards.
