- Dall sheep’s horns can weigh up to 15 kg (33 lbs), which is more than the weight of all their bones combined!
- Dall sheep are excellent climbers and use precipitous cliffs to escape predators. Their horns grow continuously throughout their lives, forming distinct age rings. During the breeding season, males engage in dramatic head-butting contests to establish dominance.
