- Despite their tough appearance, Dogo Argentinos can be very gentle and affectionate with their families, often seeking close contact and companionship.
- The Dogo Argentino was developed by Dr. Antonio Nores Martínez in the 1920s by crossing several breeds for strength, stamina, and hunting prowess. Its all-white coat was a deliberate choice to help hunters distinguish the dogs from prey during hunts. The breed is banned or restricted in several countries due to its powerful build and perceived aggression.
