Did you know?
- Despite their small size, dwarf crocodiles are known to dig complex burrows up to 6 meters long to stay cool and safe during the day.
- Dwarf crocodiles can climb muddy banks and even low tree roots to bask in the sun. Unlike larger crocodile species, they primarily hunt at night. Their heavily ossified scales provide extra protection from predators.
