Despite their fierce appearance, Emperor Dragonflies are harmless to humans and do not sting or bite.
Emperor Dragonflies can fly at speeds up to 30 km/h and are known for their acrobatic flight maneuvers. Unlike many insects, they spend most of their life as aquatic nymphs before emerging as adults. The male fiercely defends its territory from rivals, often engaging in dramatic aerial battles.
