- The eggs of the Goliath Stick Insect resemble seeds and can take up to two years to hatch, providing excellent camouflage even in the earliest stage of life.
- Female Goliath Stick Insects can be more than twice as large as males and are capable of laying hundreds of eggs in their lifetime. When threatened, they can display bright colors on their wings to startle predators and produce a rustling sound by rubbing their wings together.
