Did you know?
- Gray wolves have one of the widest natural ranges of any land mammal, spanning much of North America, Europe, and Asia.
- Gray Wolves have a bite force of around 400 psi, capable of crushing bones, which is crucial for accessing nutrient-rich marrow. They can cover territories as large as 2,500 square kilometers (965 square miles), a testament to their endurance and need for extensive hunting grounds. Contrary to popular belief, wolves do not howl at the moon; their vocalizations serve as a communication tool for pack coordination and territory defense. Interestingly, wolves' cooperative hunting techniques and pack dynamics have inspired human military strategies and social organization concepts throughout history.
