- Despite their elaborate courtship displays, female Great Bowerbirds raise their young entirely on their own, with no help from the males.
- Male Great Bowerbirds are master architects, building bowers that can reach up to one meter in length. They carefully arrange colorful objects, including shells, stones, and man-made items, to impress potential mates. The species is known for its mimicry, imitating sounds from other bird species and even human-made noises.
