The Greater Bilby is sometimes called the 'Easter Bilby' in Australia, where it serves as a conservation-friendly alternative to the Easter Bunny.
Bilbies have excellent hearing thanks to their large ears, and they rarely need to drink water, obtaining most of their moisture from food. Their burrows can be over three meters long and spiral deep underground for protection.
