Irrawaddy dolphins have a unique partnership with some local fishermen in Myanmar, where the dolphins help herd fish into nets in exchange for a share of the catch.
Irrawaddy dolphins can squirt water from their mouths, possibly to herd fish. They are known for their shy and gentle nature. These dolphins can swim both forwards and backwards, a rare trait among dolphins.
