- Despite their bright coloration and size, Knight Anoles can remain perfectly still for long periods, blending seamlessly into the foliage and making them difficult to spot.
- Knight Anoles can change shades of green and brown for camouflage or thermoregulation. They are known for their bold, aggressive displays and will puff out their dewlap and bob their heads to ward off rivals. Unlike many other anoles, they are large enough to prey on small birds and mammals.
