- Jindos are so loyal that some have reportedly refused food from strangers, waiting days or weeks for their owners to return.
- Jindos are renowned for their legendary homing ability, sometimes traveling hundreds of kilometers to return to their original homes. In South Korea, the breed is considered a national treasure and is protected by law. Jindos are exceptionally clean and are known to groom themselves much like a cat.
