- Despite their tiny size, Little Brown Bats can live longer than most mammals of similar size, with some recorded at over 30 years old in the wild.
- Little Brown Bats can consume up to half their body weight in insects each night. They are capable of entering torpor to survive cold winters, sometimes hibernating for over six months. Females form large maternity colonies in the summer to raise their young together.
