- Loggerhead Sea Turtles are the most widespread of all marine turtles, yet their populations are declining globally due to human activities.
- Loggerhead hatchlings instinctively head towards the brightest horizon, which is usually the ocean, but can be misled by artificial lights. Adult loggerheads can migrate across entire ocean basins, guided by the Earth's magnetic field.
