- Despite their delicate appearance, Long-tailed Grass Lizards are highly adaptable and have established populations in urban parks and gardens.
- The tail of the Long-tailed Grass Lizard can reach up to 30 cm, making it one of the longest tails relative to body size among lizards. They are excellent climbers, often found on tall grasses and shrubs. These lizards can drop their tails when threatened as a defense mechanism, which later regenerates.
