- Margays are so adept at arboreal life that they can hang from branches by one foot, using their long tail for balance.
- The Margay is one of the few cats capable of climbing down trees headfirst, thanks to its flexible ankles. It can mimic the calls of small monkeys to lure its prey, a rare skill among felines. Unlike many other wild cats, the Margay spends nearly its entire life in the trees.
