- A meerkat mob can have up to 50 members, all working together to protect and raise their young.
- Meerkats have dark patches around their eyes to reduce sun glare, aiding their lookout duties. They are immune to certain types of venom, including scorpion stings. Living in groups, they engage in cooperative child-rearing and rely on teamwork for survival.
