- Despite their small size, oncillas are fierce hunters and can take down prey almost as large as themselves.
- Oncillas are excellent climbers and spend much of their time in trees. Unlike many larger felines, they are known for their ability to purr. Their coats can vary in color and pattern depending on their geographic range.
