Did you know?
- The Orchid Mantis is one of the only insects that doesn't just blend into flowers—it actively mimics them to attract and ambush pollinators for food.
- Orchid Mantises can change their color to better match surrounding flowers, ranging from white to vibrant pinks and purples. Unlike most mantids, they are renowned for their extreme sexual dimorphism, with females being up to twice the size of males. Their flower mimicry not only fools prey, but also potential predators.
