- A Panther Chameleon's tongue can extend up to twice its body length to catch prey with astonishing speed and accuracy.
- Panther Chameleons can rapidly change their skin color not only for camouflage but also to communicate with others and regulate their body temperature. Their eyes can move independently, allowing them to survey their surroundings without moving their heads. They have specialized feet and a prehensile tail for gripping branches securely.
