- Unlike many chameleons, Parson's Chameleon does not change color dramatically for camouflage, but rather uses subtle color changes for communication and temperature regulation.
- Parson's Chameleon can grow up to 68 cm (27 inches) in total length, making it one of the largest chameleon species. Its eyes can rotate independently, allowing it to scan for prey and predators simultaneously. Females of this species lay the largest chameleon eggs, with incubation periods that can last up to two years.
