- There are estimated to be fewer than 400 mature Philippine Eagles left in the wild, making it one of the world's rarest birds of prey.
- The Philippine Eagle is the national bird of the Philippines and is sometimes called the 'Monkey-eating Eagle.' Its massive wingspan can reach up to 2.2 meters, allowing it to soar gracefully above the forest canopy. Unlike many other eagles, it forms monogamous pairs that mate for life.
