Did you know?
- Picasso triggerfish are known to rearrange objects in their environment, often moving rocks and debris to create or maintain their preferred territory.
- The Picasso triggerfish can lock itself into crevices by raising its strong dorsal spine, making it difficult for predators to extract them. Their eyes can move independently, giving them a wide field of view to spot both prey and threats. They are popular among divers and aquarists due to their vivid patterns and curious behavior.
