Although they look like plants, Pink Sea Fans are actually colonies of tiny animals closely related to jellyfish.
Pink Sea Fans provide essential shelter for small crustaceans and juvenile fish. Each colony is made up of thousands of tiny polyps working together. Their beautiful fan shape maximizes exposure to passing currents for effective feeding.
