- Some larger praying mantis species are known to prey on small birds, frogs, and even lizards, not just insects.
- Praying Mantises can rotate their heads 180 degrees to scan their surroundings. Females are known for occasional sexual cannibalism, sometimes eating the male after or during mating. They have stereo vision, allowing precise depth perception when hunting.
