- Red-eyed Tree Frog eggs can hatch early if they sense vibrations from approaching predators, allowing tadpoles to escape danger.
- Red-eyed Tree Frogs use their vibrant colors as a startle display to confuse predators. Despite their bright coloration, they are well-camouflaged when resting with their eyes closed and legs tucked in. During mating season, males call out with distinctive 'chack' sounds to attract females.
