- Despite their small size, Rockmover wrasses can move rocks and rubble several times their own body weight to find food.
- Juvenile Rockmover wrasses mimic drifting algae to avoid predators. They are one of the few fish known to use tools, leveraging their mouths to move rocks and debris. Adults often hunt cooperatively in pairs to uncover hidden prey.
