- A saltwater crocodile can leap its entire body length out of the water to catch prey on low-hanging branches.
- Saltwater crocodiles are the most aggressive of all crocodile species and have the strongest bite force of any living animal. They can swim long distances in the open sea, using ocean currents to travel between islands. Juveniles are excellent at camouflage and can blend seamlessly into their surroundings.
