- Sea Angels can survive in freezing waters and are found even under sea ice in polar regions.
- Sea Angels are actually a type of swimming sea slug, and their 'wings' are modified foot muscles. They can consume prey larger than themselves by everting their specialized mouthparts. Their bodies are almost entirely transparent, making them difficult for predators to spot.
