- Despite being apex predators, Siberian tigers may travel over 1,000 kilometers in search of food or mates due to the scarcity of prey in their habitat.
- Siberian tigers have extra fur and a thick layer of fat to survive harsh winters. They can leap up to 10 meters (32 feet) in a single bound. Each tiger's stripe pattern is unique, allowing individuals to be identified.
