- The slow loris licks or rubs its toxin onto its fur and can deliver a venomous bite, which can cause severe allergic reactions in humans.
- Slow lorises are one of the few venomous mammals in the world, producing a toxin from glands near their elbows. They have a unique way of moving that makes them almost silent, helping them avoid predators and sneak up on prey. Their large eyes are specially adapted for night vision, aiding their nocturnal lifestyle.
