Did you know?
- Stick insects can remain motionless for hours or gently sway to mimic the movement of twigs in the wind, making them nearly invisible to predators.
- Some stick insect species can regenerate lost legs if they are damaged or detached. Females of certain species can lay unfertilized eggs that develop into clones of themselves. Stick insects are mostly nocturnal, feeding during the night to avoid predators.
