Tomato Frogs can inflate their bodies to appear larger and more intimidating when threatened.
The Tomato Frog gets its name from its bright, tomato-like coloration. Females are significantly larger and more brightly colored than males. When handled or attacked, the frog's skin secretes a sticky toxin that can cause allergic reactions in some humans.
