- Tube Anemones can regenerate lost tentacles if damaged or eaten by predators.
- Tube Anemones build permanent tubes from secreted mucus and sediment, sometimes extending over a meter deep. Their tentacles are highly sensitive and retract instantly at signs of danger. Unlike many other anemones, tube anemones are not colonial and live solitary lives.
