- Weedy seadragons lack a stomach and must eat almost constantly to survive.
- Male weedy seadragons carry and incubate the eggs on their tails until hatching. They are masters of camouflage, often remaining motionless among seaweed to evade predators. Unlike seahorses, they cannot curl their tails to grasp objects.
