- Despite their graceful flight, White-capped Albatrosses are clumsy on land, often stumbling while walking due to their large size and webbed feet.
- White-capped Albatrosses can travel thousands of kilometers without stopping, using dynamic soaring to conserve energy. They breed only on a handful of remote islands, making their nesting colonies difficult to access. Their impressive wingspan, reaching up to 2.5 meters, allows for efficient long-distance flight over the Southern Ocean.
