- Unlike many pythons, female Woma pythons will actively incubate their eggs by coiling around them and shivering to generate heat.
- Woma pythons lack the heat-sensing pits found in most other pythons, but they are still effective nocturnal hunters. They are known to raid the burrows of other animals and will even eat other snakes, including venomous species. Their striking coloration helps them blend into sandy and rocky terrains.
