Did you know?
- Up to 70% of a Wood Frog's body water can turn to ice during winter, and its heart actually stops beating until it thaws in spring.
- Wood Frogs are one of the only frogs to live north of the Arctic Circle. They are able to survive being frozen solid for weeks at a time. In spring, they lay their eggs in temporary pools that form from melted snow.
